All Malaika pieces are handmade in Nairobi, Kenya. We are currently shipping orders from within Japan π―π΅

How much is shipping?
We currently offer free tracked shipping across Japan via Japan Post π€
Because orders are shipped domestically from within Japan, no customs duties or import taxes will apply.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Orders are usually dispatched within 1β2 business days.
Once shipped, deliveries within Japan typically arrive within 2β4 business days depending on your location and local postal conditions.
Will I receive tracking information?
Yes π Once your order is on its way, youβll receive a tracking link by email so you can follow its journey.
Which courier do you use?
Orders are currently shipped within Japan using Japan Post.
Will I have to pay customs duties or taxes?
Because orders are shipped domestically within Japan, no customs duties or import taxes will apply π―π΅
Can I change or cancel my order?
Once an order has been placed, weβre unable to make changes or cancellations.
If you notice an issue with your shipping address, please contact us as soon as possible at malaikapets@gmail.com and weβll do our best to help before dispatch.
Do you accept returns?
Because each Malaika piece is produced in small batches with care, we do not accept returns for reasons such as incorrect sizing, change of mind, or preference.
What if my item is defective or incorrect?
If your item arrives defective or incorrect, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and clear photos of the issue.
Once approved, we will offer a replacement (subject to availability) or a refund to your original payment method.
What does the refund include?
Approved refunds cover the product value only. Original shipping fees, return shipping costs, duties, and taxes are non-refundable.
Returned items must be unused and in original condition.
Who pays for return shipping?
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs unless otherwise stated.
Do you offer store credit?
In special circumstances, we may offer store credit at our discretion. Store credit cannot be exchanged for cash and must be used on future purchases.
What if the product looks slightly different from the photos?
Some images are styled or enhanced for presentation. We do not accept returns based on differences in screen display, lighting, or styled photography.
