Malaika’s take on the classic Japanese yukata.

This unisex yukata is made from 100% cotton African wax print and follows a traditional Japanese cut. We chose this fabric for its balance of pattern and colour, which felt equally natural on both boys and girls.

It comes with two detachable obis: a knot obi and a ribbon-style obi, both attaching with Velcro. The yukata itself fastens with Velcro, making it easy to put on and take off.

SIZE GUIDE:

All measurements below are of the finished garment. Because the yukata fastens with Velcro, the chest measurement is adjustable, and the ranges shown reflect the minimum and maximum chest measurements depending on where the Velcro is fastened.

Due to the handmade nature of each piece, measurements may vary slightly.

- Wash inside-out in cold water (max 30°C / 86°F)
- Hand wash or gentle cycle with mild detergent
- Ensure all velcro fastenings are closed before washing to prevent snagging and protect the fabric
- We recommend placing the item in a laundry net when washing
- Wash separately for first few washes (colour may bleed)
- Do not bleach or use harsh chemicals
- Do not wring or twist
- Line dry in shade (avoid direct sunlight)
- Do not tumble dry
- Iron on reverse side using cotton / low–medium heat
