The MALAIKA Kimono is a festive unisex dog kimono, handmade in Kenya from 100% cotton African wax print. Inspired by traditional Japanese kimono, it combines a Japanese silhouette with the colour and energy of Kenyan fabric.
A frilled collar, roomy sleeves and a pleated hem create a playful, dressed-up shape. Every kimono comes with two detachable obi styles: a neat knot obi and a large ribbon-style obi. Both attach with Velcro, allowing you to change the look to suit your dog or the occasion. The kimono also fastens with Velcro, making it easy to put on and take off.
Created for birthdays, New Year, celebrations, photos and any day that calls for something extra special. Our fabrics are sourced in small quantities, so some prints may not be available again once they sell out.
